"I was never one to fuss over a birthday cake until I saw and tasted one of Anne's. She has somehow unlocked the secret to the perfect flavor and texture for her cake and frosting. Every other cake I have purchased has been too fluffy and the frosting is always sickeningly sweet. Anne's cake have substance and taste homemade. Her chocolate buttercream frosting is my favorite and whenever I want a treat, that is the first thing I think of. If the taste wasn't already to die for, her designs will make your jaw drop. Anne is a favorite of ours for our family's special occasions."

The Princess Party

One of our latest projects was a Princess Castle for some darling little girls. They both have December birthdays that get overshadowed by Christmas. The girls are obsessed with all things princess. So this year, their Mom decided they needed to have a Princess Ball for their birthday party. Here's the letter and photos we received from them:

Dear Anne,

I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work in creating my daughters cake. You really went above and beyond what I was expecting. The cake was so beautiful that we didn't want to cut it. My girls just wanted to keep it and play with it. Even my boys were simply enthralled with it.

I was so impressed with your attention to detail. The bricks on the castle and the stones on the ground were so cool. I loved the tiny piped vines growing up the walls and the sugar flowers for decoration. My girls just loved the princesses and walking them up to the castle door. They could have played with it for hours had the rest of us not wanted to eat it.

Your cake really made the event special. I'm writing this the next day and my five year old has told me multiple times today "Thanks for the pretty cake mom!". You made the day....no....the year for two cute girls. This birthday will totally be remembered more than Christmas this year.

Thank you again for helping us create such a special occasion. You are amazing!

Creating this business is a dream come true for me. This work evokes nostalgic memories of my grandmother in her kitchen creating special memories for special occasions. I want to continue her legacy and help make a significant occasion in your life sweeter and more memorable.

I start with the best ingredients and make everything from scratch. You can choose from over 14 cake flavors and 20 fillings. Our fondant is also made from scratch and you can definitely taste the delicious difference. Our detailed fondant work can be as intricate as the pattern on your dress, or as whimsical as your imagination will allow. We can match any pattern or design that you desire.

Our specialty is completely custom orders. From the idea to the completion, we work together with you to create something that is uniquely you! Each cake is designed and made to express the personality and style of the event and people celebrating it. When choosing a wedding cake the cake plays an important role in the decor. We can help you select one that will highlight your wedding celebration.

We also specialize in gum paste flowers to match your wedding flowers. These are made of a sugar paste that, when dry, will last for years. These flowers are a wonderful keepsake from your special day. Our hand made flowers are created completely in our kitchen, and hand painted to the exact shade you request, so we can assure you of the high quality that we are known for.

We are so pleased to have the extremely talented sugar artist Lavonallis Campbell on our team. When I started my business, she came to help and ended up staying because she loves it. She has an extensive background in art: drawing, sculpting and painting. With her wide base of talents and dedication, she is a gift to the business. Now you can enjoy her tasty talents as well!!
